The 28-year-old is happy to make the move and feels he could stake a claim for a World Cup place in the coming months.
"I am joining a better club, it's a good solution for me," Majstorovic told Sportbladet.
"It is a big and professional club with the ambition to play in Europe every year.
"I want to be in the (World Cup) squad and this move will bring me a step closer to the World Cup."
