Ian Holloway's predictions: Wolves v Norwich, Rotherham v Newcastle

Ian Holloway is back with his Sky Bet EFL predictions

The Sky Bet EFL is back for another weekend of action and Ian Holloway returns too with his predictions.

Fulham and QPR kick things off when they meet on Saturday lunchtime, while Wolves v Norwich brings the day to a close at 5.30pm, live on Sky Sports 2 HD.

We've picked out 10 fixtures from the EFL this weekend so read on to find out what Ollie is tipping...

Wolves v Norwich - Saturday, 5.30pm, Sky Sports 2 HD from 5.15pm

Norwich played really well at Newcastle, but the disappointment will be they couldn't shut up shop after going 3-1 up away from home against a title rival.

They will be really dangerous right now, though. They are like a wounded animal and I think they'll come after Wolves.

It's all looking rosy for Wolves supporters with the new investment, but Norwich will be too strong, just like I felt Newcastle would be a little too strong for Norwich in midweek.

This is one I could definitely get wrong, though, because Wolves turned over Newcastle at St James', and they could do the same to Norwich. But I have a funny feeling Alex Neil's side are too good to lose two in a row.

Fulham v QPR - Saturday, 12.45pm

Fulham have hit the buffers a little bit and QPR have this controversy hanging over them. It's been a sad week for football.

But will it distract QPR? I don't think so. They should be able to take a point from their neighbours.

Reading v Derby - Saturday, 3pm

The owner has had a bit of a row with Nigel Pearson, from the outside looking in. At the end of the day, he sees it as his show, like a lot of chairmen do these days, but hopefully it's just a bit of an argument and the wedding will carry on.

I've said it all along, there's a problem in the Derby squad. They can't turn games around and show the fight you'd think a group of talented boys like that should be able to show. I think that's where the fault lies.

I've been really impressed with Reading this year, and I think their march continues. Having met their manager, Jaap Stam commands respect because he's a big fella, but I really like him too. I'm absolutely one of his fans.

OLLIE PREDICTS: 1-0 (Sky Bet odds 13/2)

Rotherham v Newcastle - Saturday, 3pm

I feel for Rotherham because I gave them a 1-0 win the other day and they didn't get it, but I can't see them beating Newcastle at home.

Highlights of the Sky Bet Championship match between Newcastle United and Norwich City

Rafa Benitez's side will get a big boost from their win over Norwich, and Dwight Gayle could be among the goals again this weekend. Coming back from 3-1 down to win 4-3 could be the result that puts them on a right good run. They are starting to show their pedigree.

I can't say a bad word about Rotherham. I feel for their supporters but they should be very proud of where their club is because being in the Championship and hanging on isn't easy.

OLLIE PREDICTS: 0-2 (Sky Bet odds 6/1)

Leeds v Barnsley - Saturday, 3pm

Leeds have turned the corner, while controversy has dogged Barnsley this week, so I think the hosts will have the impetus in this local derby.

It's a magnificent game and one I think Leeds will edge, with Chris Wood to get one of the goals.

Preston v Aston Villa - Saturday, 3pm

Preston is a difficult place to go but Aston Villa are starting to build some momentum.

I'm going against my mate Simon Grayson, but Villa showed signs last weekend against Newcastle. They had to fight to get the equaliser, which they did, and I felt they were the better team against a very good side.

Highlights of Barnsley's 1-1 draw with Aston Villa from the Sky Bet Championship

They need to get their balance right, though, and figure out what kind of team they want to be. Are they a defensive or attacking side?

With the players they have got, I think they should be attacking and if they set up to go at Preston, they can win.

OLLIE PREDICTS: 0-2 (Sky Bet odds 8/1)

Bristol City v Nottingham Forest - Saturday, 3pm

I can't see anything other than a 1-0 win for Bristol City, who are going brilliantly at the moment.

Tammy Abraham is the player of the season so far, and you have to wonder why he didn't get a look in at Chelsea. I just don't understand it.

Highlights from the 1-1 draw between Nottingham Forest and Fulham from the Sky Bet Championship

I guess the problem is you can't give someone credit for scoring in an U21 league. We think we are educating them, but nothing is for real. It can't match playing in front of a crowd and actually winning and losing for real.

Still, he's flying for Bristol City at the moment, and I think could turn out to be the loan signing of the year.

OLLIE PREDICTS: 1-0 (Sky Bet odds 15/2)

Sheffield Wednesday v Brighton - Saturday, 3pm

Brighton will get their own back for last season.

Sheffield Wednesday are a really good side, but I think Chris Hughton and his players will have the playoff defeat on their minds.

That will smart with them, and I think Glenn Murray and Tomer Hemed will cause problems for Wednesday.

Bury v Scunthorpe - Saturday, 3pm

These two have both been fantastic this season, but Josh Morris of Scunthorpe is one player who has really impressed me.

I love to see a young British kid given a chance and do so well.

Bury are improving all the time, but I thought Sheffield United would beat Scunthorpe last week, and I can't go against them again.

Portsmouth v Doncaster - Saturday, 3pm

Portsmouth will bounce back from their defeat to Blackpool, which is a difficult place to go again now Gary Bowyer is in charge.

I reckon Conor Chaplin - nickname Charlie - will be on the scoresheet. I love the way he plays.

I can't say anything bad against Doncaster, I just think it will be Portsmouth's day. Having lost to Blackpool, they will be up for beating Doncaster all over the park.
