Striker to sign permanent deal on Monday
Preston North End are poised to complete the permanent signing of Stoke City striker Jon Parkin.
Parkin has initially joined the Lilywhites on an emergency loan and will sign a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee on the last day of the transfer window on Monday.
The 26-year-old, who arrived at Stoke from Hull City last year, featured and scored for the Potters at Cheltenham in the Carling Cup on Tuesday but has failed to play in the Premier League this term.
Parkin is at manager Alan Irvine's disposal for the Championship encounter at home to Charlton on Saturday.
