Valon Behrami's agent claims Serie A giants Roma are interested acquiring the West Ham ace.
The Switzerland international only joined the Hammers from Lazio last summer and has made an immediate impact in England's top flight.
However, with the possibility of West Ham needing to raise funds to pay Sheffield United compensation over the Carlos Tevez affair, they could be forced to sell.

Behrami's agent Alessandro Beltrami claims the Giallorossi have contacted him over the 25-year-old, although it is too early to say whether a deal will be done in the January transfer window.
"Roma have enquired after Valon," Beltrami told the
Daily Star.
"They have given me their word that they are keen on the lad and willing to close the deal.
"However, we are just in the early stages."
