Notts County trialist Kebba Ceesay admits he would prefer to stay with his current side Djurgardens.
The defender recently spent a week on trial at Meadow Lane but is now back in Sweden and waiting for a call from the big-spenders.
While he will listen to any offer that comes in from the League Two outfit, he says he would prefer to remain at Djurgardens, where he has a year left on his contract.
Ceesay told
Fotbollskanalen: "I am going to talk to Djurgardens. But I want to stay.
"But it is important that they show that they are going to invest in me, not only to sell me to the first bidder."
Experience
He added: "Of course I will listen to what they (Notts County) say. But for me, it's mainly an experience, to try something new.
"The game in England is more physical than at home, but I was prepared for that."
Asked what it would be like to play for a team which is in the fourth division but aiming higher, he replied: "I haven't thought about that. You always aim at a higher level than that.
"But the focus is now on Djurgardens."
Moloney flattered
Meanwhile, Brendan Moloney says he is "flattered" that the Magpies want to sign him on a permanent basis.
County boss Hans Backe wants to extend the Nottingham Forest right-back's loan at Meadow Lane until the end of the season before signing him permanently in the summer.
While Moloney is pleased to have impressed the new County boss, he is keeping his focus firmly on events on the pitch.
He told the
Nottingham Evening Post: "It's great but I will get on with my football and whatever happens, happens.
"I'll just leave the two clubs to deal with it.
"I'm flattered. It gives you a lot of confidence that a club like Notts wants you."
