Cobblers boss Ian Sampson saw his side win their sixth game in seven on Good Friday when Adebayo Akinfenwa's header earned a 2-1 victory at Grimsby, and the prolific striker will again lead the line.
Akinfenwa has been offered a new two-year contract to stay at Sixfields and his goal at Blundell Park took his record to an impressive 36 strikes in 74 league starts for the Cobblers.
Steve Guinan is pushing for a starting role alongside Akinfenwa after returning to fitness following a hernia problem as the Cobblers look to cement a play-off place.
Winger Andy Holt and midfielder Kevin Thornton remain sidelined with knee injuries, while goalkeeper Chris Dunn is also absent as he recovers from a knee problem of his own.

Torquay boss Paul Buckle is unlikely to change his winning side for the trip to sixth-placed Northampton.
Buckle gave a late run-out to fit-again central defender Kieran Charnock at the end of Saturday's 2-1 home win over Shrewsbury.
And after the game, he said: "I will have to see how everyone is but I think everyone is fine. We have got options and we have a quick turnaround so I have got to look at those options."
United will be without experienced winger Wayne Carlisle (knee) but are otherwise at full strength.
Buckle has the option of recalling midfielders Danny Stevens - another late substitute on Saturday - or Eunan O'Kane, while Chris Zebroski, who started on the wing against Shrews, can also be moved into attack.
