Team news for Saturday afternoon's League One clash between Notts County and Tranmere at Meadow Lane.

Ben Burgess comes back into the reckoning for Notts County ahead of the visit of fellow strugglers Tranmere. The forward has been missing from the first-team fold for two months due to a calf injury. Jon Harley is suspended after collecting his fifth yellow card of the season in the defeat at Exeter and the defender must serve a one-match ban. Lee Hughes continues to be plagued by a hip problem and the striker is a doubt as he still tries to find his fitness. Back-up keeper Stuart Nelson is also nursing a knock. Captain John Thompson, midfielders Neal Bishop and Thomas Ince and forward Craig Westcarr are all pushing for recalls. Tranmere boss Les Parry revealed defender Marlon Broomes and forward Enoch Showunmi are set to miss the trip to Notts County. Broomes was withdrawn late in the second half of last weekend's home win over Plymouth after taking a blow to the hip/lower back area. He is still troubled by the injury and will play no part against the Magpies. Showumni is nursing a knee injury and will also miss out but veteran centre-back Ian Goodison should be passed fit despite swelling around his calf and shin. Parry said: "Although Ian doesn't look like he's going to play at the moment, I expect him to play. "He does pick up these injuries, he hasn't trained this week and I'll say he's 50-50 at the moment. But he'll play at the weekend and that's the way it works."
