Trialist Adam McGurk secured a 1-1 draw for Birmingham at Oxford and was denied a late winner at the Kassam Stadium.

Adam McGurk: Impressed as a trialist for Birmingham
The Northern Ireland international winger, released by Tranmere at the end of last season, fired City level just before half-time after Deane Smalley had put League Two Oxford into the lead in the 25th minute courtesy of a strong run and finish.
McGurk then had a chance to clinch victory for Blues in injury time but saw his header superbly tipped over by goalkeeper Ryan Clarke.
