Accrington captain Seamus Conneely is nearing a return from a groin injury, but may not be risked. Midfielder Conneely has missed the last three league games, with Dan Barlaser, who is on loan from Newcastle, impressing in his absence.
Goalkeeper Connor Ripley is suspended for the second game of a three-match ban for his sending-off against Shrewsbury. Defender Harvey Rodgers (knee) remains out.
Peterborough and Accrington haven't met since January 2008 - the Posh won 8-2 at London Road in a League Two fixture, with George Boyd and Aaron McLean scoring hat-tricks.
There have been 23 goals scored in just four league meetings between Peterborough and Accrington.
