Marcus Maddison faces a late fitness test before Peterborough select their starting XI to face Barnsley in League One.
The winger missed training on Thursday, owing to illness, but is expected to be available. Midfielder George Cooper trained on Thursday, having recovered from injury, and is set for a return. Left-back Tyler Denton, on loan from Leeds, misses out with an ankle problem.
Daniel Pinillos is a doubt for Barnsley, meaning they could struggle at left-back. He came off with a knee problem in the first half of Tuesday's 1-1 draw with Plymouth at Oakwell.
Zeki Fryers, an alternative at left-back, is already out for the next two-to-three weeks, also with a knee injury. Winger Lloyd Isgrove is a further injury doubt with a muscle strain.
Peterborough have won their last three home league matches against Barnsley, all by a one-goal margin, having lost five consecutive Football League matches against the Tykes previously.
Barnsley have conceded in all 16 of their visits to Peterborough in the Football League (44 goals in total - W5 D1 L10) whilst they have scored in all but one of their trips to face the Posh (31 goals in total), a 3-0 defeat in April 1974.
Barnsley midfielder Alex Mowatt scored from outside the box in their last game against Plymouth - 11 of his 16 league goals have been from scored from outside the box.
Barnsley have had 176 shots in League One this season - 26 more than any other side.
Peterborough have registered the best conversion rate in League One in 2018-19, scoring with 23% of their shots (28 goals from 124 shots).
