A stunning 30-yard half-volley from Joe Ward in second-half stoppage time gave Peterborough a dramatic 1-0 home win against Burton.
Ward struck in the first minute of injury time to give promotion-chasing Posh a first win in four after a drab encounter which had looked destined to finish goalless.
Burton - who were unbeaten in three - had looked the likelier to score, although the home side had a shout for a penalty when Mo Eisa fell to the ground under contact from John-Joe O'Toole.
The visitors could have taken an early lead when Scott Fraser had space in the area but shot wide.
Right-back John Brayford had two efforts on goal, the second of which forced Posh goalkeeper Christy Pym into a diving save in the 68th minute.
Three minutes later Posh were appealing for a penalty when Eisa went down but referee Will Finnie waved away the appeals.
However, that did not matter when the ball dropped to Ward who unleashed a thunderous strike.
