Posh v Leyton Orient preview

Team news ahead of Tuesday night's League One clash between Peterborough United and Leyton Orient at London Road.

Peterborough will be without striker Craig Mackail-Smith. The 26-year-old has scored 12 goals this season but collected his fifth booking during Saturday's 4-1 defeat at Southampton and will serve a one-match ban. That will see Lee Tomlin pushed forward to partner Aaron Mclean in attack as Dave Hibbert remains a long-term absentee. Hibbert dislocated his knee after coming off the bench during the 4-1 FA Cup replay win over Stockport last week and is set for several months on the sidelines. Full-backs Nana Ofori-Twumasi and Tommy Rowe are out with groin strains while midfielder Lee Frecklington rounds out the absentees after he suffered ankle ligament damage. Manager Gary Johnson is set to make changes to his starting XI after the latest heavy defeat at St Mary's with Gabriel Zakuani, James Wesolowski, Ryan Bennett, Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and Adam Clayton all hoping for recalls. Ben Chorley is out of Leyton Orient's trip to Peterborough. The defender, who has been captaining the O's in Stephen Dawson's absence, is suspended after collecting his fifth booking of the season on Saturday. Aaron Brown is likely to step in at centre-half alongside Terrell Forbes. Dawson is expected to be out for at least another couple of weeks with a leg injury and fellow midfielder Adam Chambers is still recovering from surgery on his calves. Jonathan Tehoue is pushing for his first start in the league this season after his late heroics at the weekend. Orient were 2-0 down against Bournemouth when the French striker climbed off the bench to score twice in the last five minutes to secure an unlikely point.
