Marcus Maddison could return for Peterborough in their Sky Bet League One clash against Scunthorpe.
Maddison missed Saturday's 1-1 draw against Gillingham with a calf injury. Alex Penny (shoulder) and Gwion Edwards (ankle) both remain sidelined. Posh will host Scunthorpe without a victory from their last four matches.
Duane Holmes and Rory McArdle will both be assessed by Iron manager Graham Alexander. Midfielder Holmes took a knock in the closing stages of Saturday's home defeat to Rotherham and centre-half McArdle had a tooth dislodged.
On-loan Barnsley midfielder Cameron McGeehan and Clayton Lewis will return to contention after illness and Levi Sutton has overcome a knock he sustained in training last week. Striker Lee Novak and Cameron Burgess are both pushing for recalls to the starting line-up.
Peterborough have won just one of their last eight league meetings with Scunthorpe (D1 L6), conceded 2+ goals in six of those eight matches (15 goals conceded).
The Iron have won three consecutive trips to Peterborough in League One, scoring exactly twice in each, this after losing their previous three visits in the Football League.
The Posh have never lost three consecutive home matches under Grant McCann in all competitions, last doing so in March 2016 under Graham Westley.
Scunthorpe have kept one clean sheet in their last 14 matches in all competitions, having kept five clean sheets in their six games prior to this run.
