Team news for Tuesday night's League One clash between Plymouth Argyle and Dagenham & Redbridge at Home Park.

Rory Patterson will be pushing for a start when Plymouth host Dagenham. Patterson, fresh from his goal for Northern Ireland, came off the bench in Saturday's defeat to Brentford and will be looking for a promotion to the starting line-up. Carl Fletcher has been absent from the Argyle side for the last seven matches after suffering a leg injury and has returned to training but Tuesday's game is likely to come too soon for the midfielder. Goalkeeper David Button has also occupied the sidelines with a leg injury and is close to a return as is Jim Paterson who has returned to full training following a torn hamstring but is unlikely to be risked yet. Stephane Zubar impressed on his debut at right-back and is likely to keep his place. Dagenham manager John Still is set to keep faith with teenage left-back Femi Ilefanmi at Plymouth. The 19-year-old was handed a surprise debut against Oldham on Saturday in place of former Argyle full-back Damien McCrory and won the man-of-the-match award in the 1-0 defeat. Loanees Solomon Taiwo, Medy Elito and Kayleden Brown all started against the Latics as Still searched for the winning formula and should keep their places after impressing in the defeat. Goalkeeper Tony Roberts is fit after an ankle injury but could only make the bench after the form of stand-in Chris Lewington between the sticks. Defender Scott Doe has suffered a setback in his recovery from ankle ligament damage and misses out while midfielder Stuart Lewis has joined Wycombe on loan.
