Plymouth v Leyton Orient preview

Image: Fallon: Doubtful for Argyle

Team news ahead of Saturday's League One clash between Plymouth Argyle and Leyton Orient at Home Park.

Plymouth manager Peter Reid will be without midfielder Simon Walton. Walton is missing with a knee injury that he sustained in the second half of Monday's 3-1 defeat to Southampton, which relegated the Pilgrims, however the problem is thought not to be as serious as the knee problem that sidelined him for most of this season. Striker Rory Fallon is a doubt as he is struggling with a cold and will be assessed late on. Young Irish forward Joe Mason could make the starting line-up after appearing off the bench in the last two matches. Reid went with an attacking line-up against the Saints with Yala Bolasie, Kari Arnason and Rory Patterson urged to get forward and support Fallon and it remains to be seen whether he goes with the same system or brings Luke Summerfield back into midfield. Ben Chorley is back in the Leyton Orient squad. The defender has spent the last five weeks on the sidelines with a thigh injury but played an hour for the reserves in midweek to prove his fitness. The O's are still without striker Alex Revell, whose season was ended when he suffered knee ligament damage a month ago, while midfielder Jimmy Smith has not shaken off his knee injury in time. But goalkeeper Jamie Jones (shoulder), veteran frontman Scott McGleish (back) and on-loan Tottenham winger Paul-Jose Mpoku (ankle) returned from injuries last week and came through unscathed. Defender Aaron Brown could be added to the bench after returning from his loan spell with Stockport.
