Preston v Wycombe preview

Team news ahead of Saturday's League One clash between Preston and Wycombe at Deepdale.

Preston are poised to have a new manager in place after Graham Westley left Stevenage to take over at Deepdale. They could have Barry Nicholson available after the midfielder recovered from torn ankle ligaments ahead of schedule. On-loan Manchester City striker Harry Bunn is in line to make his debut and North End's attacking options could be further boosted after Jamie Proctor (hernia), Keammar Daley (hamstring) and Juvhel Tsoumou came through a reserve game. Iain Turner's loan move to Dunfermline means Andreas Arestidou will return to the bench as understudy to goalkeeper Thorsten Stuckmann. Forwards Iain Hume (hamstring) and Neil Mellor (knee) remain on the sidelines. Defensive duo Leon Johnson and Dave Winfield are injury doubts for Wycombe. Johnson was stretchered off during the Chairboys' humiliating 6-0 home defeat to Huddersfield last week after damaging his knee while a similar injury accounted for Winfield against Stevenage on New Year's Eve. Striker Matt McClure is continuing to make good progress in full training following his recovery from a dislocated ankle but the game with North End could come too soon. Anthony McNamee has returned to parent club MK Dons following the completion of his loan spell, while Marcello Trotta will play his last game for Wanderers before going back to Fulham. Manager Gary Waddock was "embarrassed" after Wycombe's heaviest-ever home defeat in the Football League against Huddersfield and could make several changes this weekend.
