Ryan Delaney is set to be back involved for Rochdale on Saturday when they host Gillingham in Sky Bet League One.
The defender missed last weekend's 3-3 draw at Scunthorpe due to being on international duty with the Republic of Ireland Under-21s. Jordan Williams played no part in that game either, having sustained a slight knee twist. Dale have also had Connor Randall and Josh Lillis sidelined.
Gillingham's Dean Parrett is in contention for a return to action in the match at the Crown Oil Arena. The midfielder, missing for the last seven games in all competitions, has been recovering from a hamstring problem.
Forward Josh Parker has returned from international duty with Antigua and Barbuda. Gabriel Zakuani (shoulder) is a doubt, while Regan Charles-Cook and Billy Bingham are ruled out by injury.
Rochdale have beaten Gillingham twice in the last three league meetings (L1), as many victories as in the previous 13 games (including play-offs).
Gillingham have only won once in the last 12 league visits to the Crown Oil Arena (D5 L6 - including play-offs), a 1-0 win on the final day of the 2008/09 League Two campaign, before facing each other in the play-offs.
Rochdale have lost each of their opening three home league contests this season, they last went on a longer losing streak in March 2008 (five successive losses).
After winning their opening two League One outings, Gillingham have picked up just one point from their last five (D1 L4), losing both away games in this run.
The Gills have only kept one clean sheet in their 14 league away games in 2018 - a 2-0 victory against Accrington on the opening day of this season.
