Rochdale v Swindon preview

Team news ahead of Saturday's League One clash between Rochdale and Swindon Town at Spotland.

Rochdale boss Keith Hill will hand a debut to on-loan striker Bobby Grant. The 20-year-old, who can also play on the wing, has signed from Scunthorpe until January after finding first-team chances hard to come by at Glanford Park. Hill said: "Bobby's a player we've admired for quite a while. He's been involved for Scunthorpe this season, albeit mainly off the bench. "It's not one I'd expect to be able to make permanent, because he's highly regarded at Scunthorpe. "They've let him come to us because he's not getting much football and he wants to play." Hill has no injury or suspension concerns to contend with as his side bid to bounce back from last weekend's defeat at Sheffield Wednesday. Danny Wilson will give a number of Swindon players as much time as possible to prove their fitness. Full-back Kevin Amankwaah (knee), striker Vincent Pericard (groin), goalkeeper David Lucas (shoulder) and midfielder Simon Ferry (ankle) will all be assessed ahead of the Spotland clash. Should none of the quartet make it then it is likely Wilson will stick with the same XI who claimed a 2-1 victory over Colchester last weekend. Skipper Jonathan Douglas returned from his toe injury to line up in midfield, making his first appearance in almost a month. Striker Thomas Dossevi opened the scoring against the U's to register his third goal since arriving over the summer, and he has opted to represent Town this weekend ahead of international action with Togo. On-loan centre-back Andy Frampton (ankle) is making good progress with his rehabilitation back at Millwall and could possibly even be available for Tuesday's encounter against Notts County.
