Rochdale have no fresh injury worries for the visit of Torquay United, who are likely to be missing Kieran Charnock.
Dale defender Rory McArdle is still out with a dislocated shoulder and midfielder Ciaran Toner is also a long-term absentee due to a shin injury.
Skipper Gary Jones and striker Chris O'Grady felt the effects of a virus during last Friday's thrilling 3-3 draw at Morecambe.
Both men were replaced at Christie Park but look set to be passed fit to face Paul Buckle's side.
Manager Keith Hill has urged his side to take their stunning second-half performance against Morecambe into the clash with Torquay.
Dale were 3-0 down at half-time on but turned on the style after the break to draw level and clinch a point.
Torquay are set to be without central defender Charnock for the trip to Spotland, while Michael Poke is due to start in goal.
Charnock picked up a hamstring injury in last Saturday's 2-1 home defeat against Bournemouth and was substituted after just 16 minutes.
Former Plymouth defender Lee Hodges came on in his place and is likely to continue should Charnock fail to recover in time.
Gulls skipper Chris Hargreaves (knee) is also an injury doubt after he was substituted before half-time in Saturday's game with a knee injury.
Tyrone Thompson stands by to deputise in central midfield, while United are set to be boosted by the return to fitness of right-back Lee Mansell.
On-loan Southampton shot-stopper Poke is expected to start in goal to allow regular No.1 Scott Bevan the opportunity to rest an Achilles injury he has been carrying all season.
