Charlton will be hoping to maintain the pace with the Championship's frontrunners when they travel to struggling Scunthorpe on Saturday.
However, Scunthorpe require the points at the other end of the table and manager Nigel Adkins is unlikely to be in a welcoming mood
On-loan striker Geoff Horsfield will go straight into the Scunthorpe squad, while skipper Andy Crosby has recovered from illness
Adkins also has defenders Mamadou Seck and Cliff Byrne available as he plots the Addicks' downfall.
Charlton boss Alan Pardew is not expected to make many changes to the side which defeated Stoke on Tuesday.
However, loan signing Greg Halford could feature while Sam Sodje remains absent with a hand injury.
