    Image: Montgomery: Back in squad

Team news ahead of Saturday's League One clash between Sheffield United and Charlton at Bramall Lane.

Sheffield United skipper Nick Montgomery will return to the squad. Midfielder Montgomery has been sidelined for the last six matches due to an ankle injury, but came through 90 minutes for the reserves unscathed in midweek and hopes to play some part. Manager Danny Wilson has no new injury or suspension problems and is unlikely to make further changes. Striker Richard Cresswell staked his claim for a return to the starting line-up after stepping off the substitutes' bench in the second half of last week's defeat at Wycombe. The Blades, who have lost only once at Bramall Lane in the league this season, could close to within a point of leaders Charlton with victory. Danny Green and Yann Kermorgant will probably have to settle for places on the bench again. Winger Green, fit again after a virus, set up striker Kermorgant for the Addicks' equaliser in the 1-1 draw at MK Dons after both came on as substitutes. But boss Chris Powell has named the same starting line-up for the past five League One matches and is unlikely to tinker, with his side now two points clear at the top. Midfielder Bradley Pritchard (foot) and forward Paul Benson (fractured fingers) are still out. Defender Leon Cort will travel to Bramall Lane before linking up with the Guyana squad for their World Cup qualifiers next week and teenage midfielder Ben Davisson has joined non-league Welling on loan.
