Shrewsbury vs AFC Wimbledon preview

Shrewsbury are without midfielder Anthony Grant for the visit of AFC Wimbledon.

Grant picked up a 10th League One booking of the season in the 2-0 win against Doncaster on Tuesday and starts a two-game suspension. But midfield pair David Edwards and Ollie Norburn are back from bans, with the latter expected to replace Grant as Shrewsbury seek to extend their best unbeaten league run of the season to five games.

Romain Vincelot is making progress from a knee injury which has kept him out for nearly a month, but the French veteran is not ready to return just yet.

Kwesi Appiah has boosted bottom-placed AFC Wimbledon by returning to training this week. The seven-goal striker has missed four games since suffering a hamstring injury against Burton on February 9.

Fellow forward James Hanson (groin) stepped up his fitness with a 45-minute appearance for the development squad in midweek and could return to the Dons starting line-up. But Deji Oshilaja (foot) and Dylan Connolly (ankle) remain out, and teenage midfielder Ossama Ashley will miss the rest of the season after sustaining cruciate ligament damage.
