Shrewsbury's preparations for the Sky Bet League One home clash with Gillingham on Tuesday have been hit by illness in the camp.
Boss Paul Hurst revealed four players had missed training on Monday because of feeling unwell and that "a bunch" of others were training despite illness.
The Shrews have lost each of their last two home matches, with Rotherham winning 1-0 at the Montgomery Waters Meadow on Saturday, a result which left Hurst's men a point clear of second-placed Wigan having played two games more. Plymouth won 2-1 on their visit a week earlier, Shrewsbury triumphing at Fleetwood in between those two games.
Gillingham could have captain Lee Martin back involved after he missed Saturday's 0-0 draw with Walsall. The midfielder, who took a kick on the foot in training last Thursday, is rated at 50/50.
Defender Alex Lacey is set to sit things out again as he continues to recover from an ankle injury. And Billy Bingham (leg) is another player who remains unavailable.
The Shrews have lost just one of their last 10 league meetings with Gillingham (W5 D4), although that sole defeat came in their last league encounter on home soil (2-3).
That 3-2 win in August 2016 means that the Gills could win back-to-back trips to Shrewsbury for the first time in the Football League.
The Shrews have lost consecutive home league games for the first time since April 2017. They last suffered three consecutive defeats on home soil back in August 2016.
Josh Parker has been directly involved in five goals in his last five away league games for the Gills (four goals, one assist).
