Striker Lee Barnard returns for Nigel Adkins' first home game in charge of Southampton against Colchester.
Barnard has completed a three-match ban for his sending-off against Swindon last month.

The striker has joined on loan from Watford until January and will hope to make his debut at St Mary's.

Henderson missed last weekend's draw with Plymouth after tweaking his knee in training while Gillespie played for the reserves in midweek as he continues his recovery from an ankle injury.
