Brighton & Hove Albion maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a 2-0 win at 10-man Southend United.
Micky Adams' side made the most of Franck Moussa's dismissal to score twice in the final 16 minutes through Glenn Murray and Nicky Forster.
Southend could easily have been down to 10 men after just three minutes when former Brighton striker Alex Revell went in with a robust challenge on visiting keeper Michel Kuipers.
Revell showed the positive side to his game moments later when he struck the base of the post with a shot from just outside the area.
The game turned in Brighton's favour on 63 minutes when Southend's Moussa was dismissed following a challenge on Adam Virgo.
Brighton, who won their previous away game 2-1 at Crewe, made the most of their numerical advantage by taking the lead on 74 minutes.
David Livermore played in a free-kick from the left which was turned home at the back post by Glenn Murray, who was back in the team after suspension.
The points were wrapped up a minute from time when Forster finished clinically following a pull-back from Steven Thomson.
