Stockport cruised to a convincing 4-1 victory against a disappointing Hereford side.
The Hatters got off to a great start with a goal after just 13 seconds. Hereford skipper Karl Broadhurst fluffed a simple clearance, and in raced Dominic Blizzard who coolly slotted home the loose ball from 12 yards.
Paul Turnbull and Leon McSweeney both went close to a second goal for Stockport, before the visitors hit back to level in the 27th minute. Jennison Myrie-Williams crossed for Sam Hewson who fired a shot into the roof of the net.
Stockport went back in front just six minutes later. Robbie Threlfall sent in a corner and Matty McNeil dived in to head home clinically at the far post.
It was 3-1 seven minutes after the restart. Teenager Matty Mainwaring turned neatly before slotting home a low shot across goalkeeper Craig Samson.
Stockport wrapped up the scoring in the 77th minute. Substitute Michael Rose crossed, and Leon McSweeney was left in space at the far post and he fired home from 12 yards.
