Stoke City will be keen to return to winning ways when Everton visit the Britannia Stadium on New Year's Day.
The Potters were upset by lowly Fulham last time out while the Toffees were held to a 1-1 draw by West Ham at Upton Park.
History is not on Stoke's side as Everton come into the match unbeaten in their last 12 outings against the Potters in all competitions.
When the teams met at Goodison Park earlier in the year Yakubu netted the winner, but more worryingly for Stoke they failed to muster a single shot on target.
Stoke will check on the fitness of winger Matthew Etherington and forward Jon Walters ahead of the Toffees' visit.
Etherington (ankle) and Walters (shoulder) both had to come off during Tuesday's 2-0 defeat to Fulham as they were still feeling the effects of the knocks they had picked up in the 2-0 win at Blackburn on Boxing Day.
Key defender Robert Huth is suspended after collecting his fifth booking of the season in the game against the Cottagers.
The absence of the German talisman means it is a straight choice between Danny Higginbotham and Abdoulaye Faye to partner Ryan Shawcross in the heart of Pulis' defence.
Moyes will be hoping star defender Phil Jagielka recovers from his thigh strain to boost Everton's defence at Stoke.
The England international picked up the knock in the 2-1 win at Manchester City and missed Tuesday's 1-1 draw against West Ham.
Everton played without a recognised striker at Upton Park with Tim Cahill leading the line and the likes of Louis Saha, Yakubu or even Jermaine Beckford will be hoping to get the nod.
Moyes is unlikely to make a raft of changes as Everton look to leapfrog Stoke in the Premier League standings with success at the Britannia Stadium.
