Whites out to ground the Robins

Swindon will be hoping to curb Leeds' recent revival when they meet at the County ground on Saturday. The Robins have recovered well from a disappointing start to climb into mid-table, and are unbeaten in their last three matches in all competitions. Leeds also suffered an indifferent opening to the new campaign, but hit top gear last weekend as they moved into the play-off places with a 5-2 hammering of Crewe.

Swindon team news

Swindon's Patrick Kanyuka has been ruled out of the weekend contest with a hamstring injury. The DR Congo-born defender's absence means Jack Smith is expected to keep the left-back spot as Jamie Vincent will not be rushed back from his undiagnosed knee problem. Midfielder Kasali Yinka Casal has suffered a knock to his back and is doubtful for Maurice Malpas' side. Striker Barry Corr could return to the first-team squad for the first time since March after six months out with a shoulder injury. The Irishman has impressed for the reserves but is not expected to dislodge Billy Paynter or Simon Cox straight away. Young centre-back Tom Evans will not be considered as he has been sent out on trial at Lincoln with a view to a loan move.
Leeds team news
Enoch Showunmi could be back in contention for Leeds, but Lubomir Michalik is suspended. Showunmi was sidelined during last week's win over Crewe due to a back injury, but returned to full training this week and is expected to provide manager Gary McAllister with an added option up front. McAllister must decide whether to stick with Luciano Becchio alongside Jermaine Beckford, who has hit eight goals in seven matches this season, or recall Showunmi or possibly Rob Snodgrass. Centre-half Michalik, dismissed in the closing stages against Crewe for a second yellow card, serves a one-game ban. Rui Marques and Paul Huntington are vying for a place in central defence alongside Paul Telfer, who is expected to shake off a groin strain sustained on Saturday.
