Swindon v Leyton Orient preview

Image: Douglas: Doubtful for Robins

Team news for Saturday's League One clash between Swindon Town and Leyton Orient at the County Ground.

Swindon captain Jonathan Douglas and striker Vincent Pericard are major doubts for the visit of Leyton Orient, meaning Charlie Austin is likely to make his return to Town's starting XI. Midfielder Douglas was forced off with a foot injury in the second half of last weekend's stunning 5-4 defeat at Peterborough and is unlikely to make it. Similarly Pericard has not trained this week having picked up a groin strain at London Road, being replaced in the 27th minute by Austin who came off the bench for his first piece of match action since recovering from a dislocated shoulder. Austin is now expected to start from the off against Orient, with David Prutton or Paul Caddis the leading contenders to fill the void left by Douglas. Goalkeeper David Lucas should be okay having been replaced by Phil Smith at half-time against Posh, with the Town number one feeling groggy having had two teeth removed last week. Defender Lecsinel Jean-Francois (hamstring) has returned to full training this week and will compete for a place in Wilson's matchday 18. Leyton Orient captain Stephen Dawson hopes to be fit for the trip to face the Robins. Midfielder Dawson missed last weekend's win over Hartlepool with a groin problem and has also been struggling with flu, but he is due to resume training ahead of Saturday and should be in contention. Jimmy Smith stepped in for Dawson and would be most likely to give way. Goalkeeper Jamie Jones is still a week away from returning after a groin injury so Lee Butcher keeps his place. Jonathan Tehoue came on as a substitute to score the winner against Hartlepool and is pushing for a start along with Tottenham loanee Paul-Jose M'Poku, whose introduction from the bench also helped change the game.
