Zoumana Bakayogo is in contention to return for Tranmere when they host Carlisle in Sky Bet League Two.
The defender recently returned to training and may even be required to start for manager Micky Mellon's side who have won their last six matches. Defender Sid Nelson is a doubt because of a struggle with illness, while Ishmael Miller remains a long-term absentee with a hamstring injury.
Kelvin Etuhu is again available for Carlisle following a short absence. The midfielder had been away for over a week following the birth of his son but is in contention for a recall and will vie for selection with Mike Jones. Defender Macaulay Gillesphey is nearing a first-team return following a knee injury but again misses out.
Fellow defender Peter Grant will also soon return to training after his injury issues, with the game against Tranmere too soon for a return.
Tranmere beat Carlisle 2-0 in the reverse meeting in September 2018; they last did a league double over the Cumbrians in 2008-09 in League One.
Carlisle haven't lost any of their last four league visits to Tranmere (W3 D1), this after having not won any of the four prior to this (D1 L3).
Tranmere have won their last six League Two games - they last had a longer winning run in the Football League between February-March 1990 (9 games).
Carlisle have won just one of their last nine league games (D4 L4), beating Swindon 2-1 earlier this month.
