Team news ahead of Tuesday night's League One clash between Tranmere Rovers and Hartlepool United at Prenton Park.

Tranmere host Hartlepool without the services of midfield duo John Welsh and Joss Labadie. Welsh picked up his fifth booking of the season in Saturday's 1-0 win at Notts County and now serves a one-match ban. Labadie was sent off at Meadow Lane and will also be suspended while several players are nursing injuries and could miss out. Enoch Showumni scored the winning goal at the weekend but he is currently troubled by a knee injury and veteran defender Ian Goodison is also struggling for fitness. Parry has a number of other concerns as he explained: "Jermaine Grandison has tweaked his hamstring and Sam Morrow has tweaked his groin. "Liam Darville had a road traffic accident last week. He has got bruising to his kidneys and side so he'll be out as well." Hartlepool caretaker manager Mick Wadsworth has no new injury concerns. Colin Larkin has returned to training following a back problem but Tuesday's game is likely to come too soon for the attacker. Pools lost 3-2 to Colchester at the weekend and Wadsworth could opt to inject some fresh legs into his side at Prenton Park. Ritchie Humphreys could only make the bench on his return from suspension on Saturday and is pushing for a promotion back into the starting line-up. Leon McSweeney is pushing for a starting place after recent appearances from the bench while Adam Boyd could be recalled to the squad. Denis Behan has also returned to training following a shoulder problem and may earn a recall to Wadsworth's squad.
