Midfielder Pringle came off the bench on Saturday after signing for Rovers on-loan from Championship side Preston until the end of the season.

Northampton boss Keith Curle could make changes after his side's 4-0 defeat to Colchester at the weekend.

Dean Bowditch, fit again after injury, is pushing for his first appearance since January 8.

John-Joe O'Toole was taken off against Colchester but manager Curle said the midfielder returned fully fit for training on Monday and is likely to feature again.

Sam Foley is still sidelined with a back problem.
