Walsall vs Sunderland preview

Adam Chambers is expected to return before Christmas having been out since the opening day of the season.
The Walsall skipper has been missing with a broken foot but boss Dean Keates is hopeful he will return this year. Kory Roberts (broken leg) and Joe Edwards (knee) remain out for the Saddlers. Walsall could be unchanged following their 0-0 draw at Fleetwood last week.

Sunderland's Lee Cattermole has been out since the win at Southend last month with a foot injury. He played through the pain for two games but has sat out since the Shrimpers trip.
Donald Love has also been sidelined with a knock but is closing in on a return. Long-term absentees in Charlie Wyke (knee) and Duncan Watmore (knee) remain out for the Black Cats.
This is the first league meeting between Walsall and Sunderland since March 2004, when the Black Cats won 3-1 in a second-tier match.
Sunderland have won their last four matches against Walsall in all competitions by an aggregate score of 12-3.
Walsall have won just one of their last seven home league games (D2 L4), beating Wycombe 3-2 in October.
Sunderland have won each of their last four away league games - they haven't won five such games on the bounce since May 1988.
The Black Cats have won 12 points from losing positions in League One this season - more than any other side.
