    Wigan v Doncaster preview

Nick Powell is a doubt for Wigan's Sky Bet League One home clash with Doncaster on Tuesday.

The former Manchester United player has been nursing a hamstring problem that forced him off early in the 2-1 loss to Bradford on Saturday. It is expected that this match will come just too soon for goalkeeper Christian Walton as he nears readiness for a first-team return after his ankle injury. Craig Morgan (hip) and Shaun MacDonald (broken leg) remain unavailable.

The Doncaster pair of Craig Alcock and Alfie Beestin hope to return to the squad after being left out altogether for Saturday's goalless draw at Fleetwood. Boss Darren Ferguson has no new injury or suspension worries as his team bid to extend their unbeaten run in all competitions to six matches.

Summer signing Alex Kiwomya is making good progress in his recovery from a a rare autoimmune disorder, which has kept him out this season, but he is not ready for first-team action. Forward Alfie May (groin), defender Danny Andrew and midfielder Luke McCullough (both knee) and goalkeeper Ross Etheridge (ankle) remain sidelined.
