Highlights of the Sky Bet League One match between Wycombe and Coventry.

Coventry celebrated the new year in style with their third consecutive League One win as they inflicted a 2-0 defeat on Wycombe.

Conor Chaplin and Jonson Clarke-Harris grabbed their fifth goals of the season for the Sky Blues, who ended a six-game losing run away from home in all competitions.

There was less cheer for the Chairboys, though, who slumped to a fourth consecutive loss after Gareth Ainsworth's side were made to pay for failing to work Coventry keeper Lee Burge.

Wycombe cleared a Tom Bayliss cross off the line before Luke Thomas dragged a shot wide for the visitors, who repeatedly threatened on the counter-attack.

Chaplin, whose goal was the difference in October's reverse fixture, opened the scoring from the penalty spot after Nathan Tyson had brought down Dujon Sterling in the area.

Substitute Clarke-Harris doubled the lead with his first touch of the game after Bayliss broke from midfield to play him in.
