The inaugural Rolex Series continues at this week’s Italian Open, with a star-studded field featuring at Golf Club Milano.
The series is a new addition to the European Tour in 2017, with eight tournaments - including the season-ending DP World Tour Championship - all offering prize money of at least $7million.
Alex Noren took the honours in the first event by firing a final-round 62 to win the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth, with Tommy Fleetwood claiming a one-shot victory at the Open de France.
Jon Rahm dominated at Portstewart GC to cruise to a six-stroke victory at the Irish Open, before compatriot Rafa Cabrera Bello saw off Callum Shinkwin in a play-off at the Scottish Open a week later.
Masters champion Sergio Garcia is one of nine players from the world's top 50 in action this week, with Rahm, Race to Dubai leader Fleetwood and Alfred Dunhill Links champion Tyrrell Hatton also involved.
After this week's event in Italy, where home favourite Francesco Molinari is the defending champion, the next event of the series will be the Turkish Airlines Open from November 2-5.
The Nedbank Golf Challenge also features in the series, with a boosted prize fund of $7.5million up for grabs, with final event of the season in Dubai offering a prize fund of $8million.
