Colin Munro thumped 90 from 56 balls to propel Trinbago Knight Riders to a 67-run win over Guyana Amazon Warriors and extend his lead at the top of the CPL run-scoring charts.
Munro's fifth fifty in eight innings this season underpinned the defending champions' 170-7, the New Zealander smashing 10 fours and four sixes as he took his runs tally for the campaign to 436, over a hundred clear of St Lucia stars skipper Kieron Pollard (330).
Guyana then folded to 103 all out as paceman Ali Khan bagged three wickets and Dwayne Bravo, Fawad Ahmed and Khary Piere claimed two apiece - Roshon Primus top-scoring for the Amazon Warriors with an unbeaten 36 from the No 8 spot.
Knight Riders' sixth victory in eight matches moved them a point clear of St Kitts and Nevis Patriots at the top of the table with two games in hand, while Guyana - also assured a play-off place - are third, above Jamaica Tallawahs on net run-rate.
Debuting seamer Romario Shepherd, 23, impressed on his Guyana debut in the side's defeat in Port of Spain, taking the wickets of Munro, Brendon McCullum and Bravo.
