Meet freeskier James Woods, who is being tipped for gold at next year's Winter Olympics

Freestyle skiing is one of the most exciting and creative sports on the planet and here James Woods talks about the sport.

Woods is one of Britain's great medal hopefuls for next year's Winter Olympics at Pyeongchang in South Korea.

The 25-year-old went to the Sochi Games in Russia three years ago as one of the favourites to take home a medal.

However, he injured a hip during training and in the men's slopestyle event finished fifth behind an American 1-2-3.

Talking about the sport, the 25-year-old from Sheffield said: "The routine is completely free. You can do whatever you want to do."

As for his chances of a medal in 2018, he added: "We have no Usain Bolt or Michael Phelps, so it's open.
