Former 76er Shamet, traded to the Clippers mid-season in the multi-player deal that took Tobias Harris to Philadelphia, buried a go-ahead triple with 16.5 seconds remaining, capping an historic rally from a 31-point second-half deficit and sealing a series-tying 135-131 victory for Los Angeles on the Warriors' turf.

Golden State ran up a 94-63 lead and appeared well on their way to going up 2-0 before the Clippers rallied, led by 36 points from Lou Williams, first using a franchise-record 44 points in the third quarter to get within 108-94, then with relentless offensive pressure to put themselves in a position to win in the final seconds.

After Warriors guard Klay Thompson misfired on a three-point attempt, another Clippers rookie, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, found Shamet on the right wing behind the three-point line and he rattled home the trey to put the road team ahead for the first time since the first quarter.

Down by two, the Warriors went for the win, but Stephen Curry couldn't connect on a three-point try, after which Montrezl Harrell calmly dropped in two free throws to seal victory for the Clippers.
