Despite their season-long struggles, the Cavaliers have won four of their last 10 games, a run of form which has seen improved play from rookie point guard Collin Sexton and small forward Cedi Osman.

Sexton is averaging 20.4 points per game and has assumed the role of No 1 offensive option in the absence of injured All-Star forward Kevin Love. Sexton recently set an NBA rookie record, scoring at least 23 points in seven successive games (Tim Duncan held the record with a run of six games). That streak came to an end on Friday night as Sexton was held to 20 points in a loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.

Osman, in his second year in the league, has also improved his output since the All-Star break, averaging 15.4 points, 5.6 rebounds and 4.2 assists over his past 13 appearances.

The Bucks (54-19) own the NBA's best record and now have a three-game advantage over the Toronto Raptors in the race to secure the No 1 seed in the East.

Milwaukee have won six of their last 10 games and remain on pace to finish the regular season with 60-plus wins.

That dominant form has been powered by the two-way excellence of Antetokounmpo, who remains an unstoppable force on offense and a versatile anchor on defense. The 'Greek Freak' remains a favourite to win the regular season MVP award thanks to his staggering averages of 27.5 points, 12.6 rebounds, 6.0 assists, 1.4 blocks and 1.3 steals per game.

Antetokounmpo returned to action on Friday night following a two-game absence after suffering an ankle knock in the Bucks' Sunday night loss to the Philadelphia 76ers. He showed little rust, posting 27 points, eight reboudsn and seven assists as the Bucks hammered the Miami Heat 116-87.

While Antetokounmpo garners most of the attention for the Bucks, his team-mates have made telling contributions throughout the season. Khris Middleton earned his first All-Star appearance thanks to his excellent two-way play and poured in a season-high 30 points against the Lakers. Stretch center Brook Lopez scored 28 points in that game too while point guard Eric Bledsoe has routinely made game-winning contributions.
