The Memphis Grizzlies interviewed former Phoenix Suns head coach Igor Kokoskov for their vacant head coaching position, according to a report from ESPN on Saturday.

Kokoskov was fired after one season in Phoenix, as the Suns finished with the worst record in the Western Conference, 19-63.

He previously was an NBA assistant coach with the Los Angeles Clippers (2000-03), Detroit Pistons (2003-08), Suns (2008-13), Cleveland Cavaliers (2013-14), Orlando Magic (2014-2015) and Utah Jazz (2015-18).

The Grizzlies reportedly have interviewed three other candidates: Golden State Warriors assistant coach Jarron Collins, Utah Jazz assistant Alex Jensen and EuroLeague coach Sarunas Jasikevicius.

Memphis, which has the No 2 pick in the NBA Draft, is looking to replace JB Bickerstaff, who was fired after posting a 48-97 record in two seasons.
