Zarak has been given the go-ahead for a crack at the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe after pleasing connections in a crucial workout on Tuesday morning.
The son of Dubawi worked a mile and a half on Les Aigles round gallop in Chantilly in preparation for Europe's premier middle-distance race on Sunday week.
Trainer Alain de Royer-Dupre will give the four-year-old, who has had a break since winning the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud at the beginning of July, another spin next week.
"He had a gallop in Chantilly and it went very well," Royer-Dupre told Press Association Sport.
"He will have another gallop next week and everything is OK."
Zarak is a 16-1 chance to give owner Aga Khan a fifth success in the Arc and Royer-Dupre a third.
