Oisin Murphy will ride the "vast majority" of Qatar Racing's British runners next season.
Murphy has been attached with Sheikh Fahad's powerful operation since last August, but the 20-year-old will assume greater control once first-choice jockey Andrea Atzeni leaves his position at the end of the year to become retained rider for Sheikh Mohammed Obaid Al Maktoum.
David Redvers, racing manager for Qatar Racing, told the Guardian: "He will not be our first jockey, as such, but he will ride the vast majority of our runners in Britain.
"Colin Keane will ride most of our runners in Ireland. Colin is not retained by us but he's Ger Lyons' jockey and Ger trains most of our horses in Ireland.
"We'll be using one or two French jockeys as well. Basically, we're happy with the guys we've got and we're sticking with them.
"Oisin is showing already that he has a fairly rare talent.
"He's a real team player, a very strong member of our team and the feedback we get from him is exceptional."
