Davy Russell was not be able to make his return from injury at Clonmel on Thursday due to a problem with "paperwork".

The dual champion Irish jumps jockey had three booked rides, including Mallowney in the feature Clonmel Oil Chase.

He said: "I'm just a bit unlucky. It's paperwork, which is unfortunate.

"Hopefully it will be sorted out before or after the weekend.

"I don't know yet when I'll be able to comeback but it won't be long."
