Multiple Group One-winning rider Darryll Holland is to return to Britain as stable jockey to trainer Charlie Hills.

Holland, who finished third in the 1993 Derby at Epsom on 150/1 shot Blues Traveller for Hills' father, Barry, to whom he was apprentice, has been based abroad in recent years, riding in Korea in 2013/4.

He tweeted: "Delighted to be announced as 1st jockey to Charlie Hills."

Major successes for Holland have included his association with Luca Cumani's Falbrav, winning the Coral-Eclipse, Juddmonte International and Queen Elizabeth II Stakes in 2003 and being narrowly beaten in the Breeders' Cup Turf behind High Chaparral.
