Mark Walford is after more Kelso prize money on Monday with his autumn course winner Big Sound.

The Sheriff Hutton raider receives weight all round from nine rivals in the Psigma Investment Management Handicap Chase (for the Haddington Jubilee Cup).

Walford, who boasts a healthy strike-rate at the borders venue, said: "I'm hoping he will run well again. It was a cracking run back over hurdles last time at Uttoxeter and much better then we expected.

"We think he's even better over fences and he won a class 4 at Kelso on his only run at the track back in October. This is a class higher so he's getting weight this time instead of conceding it."

Those in opposition to the bottom-weight are Pauline Robson pair Habbie Simpson and Full Jack, the latter of whom scored at Musselburgh when last seen out in January.

And with both Jason Maguire and Wilson Renwick sidelined, Henry Brooke takes the ride of locally-owned Beeves for Donald McCain.

John Leadbetter, who sent out Rubstic to land the 1979 Grand National from his Denholm base, saddles The Brig At Ayr, one of nine declared for the prestigious Cazenove Capital Management Buccleugh Cup.
