Terror, ridden by Jim Crowley, wins the Irish Stallion farms 'Bosra Sham' EBF Fillies' Stakes at HQ

David Simcock's Terror showed her run in the Cheveley Park Stakes was no fluke by winning the Irish Stallion Farms 'Bosra Sham' EBF Fillies' Stakes at Newmarket.

Owned by Qatar Racing, the Kodiac filly won on her debut at Warwick by 10 lengths and was then supplemented for the Group One Cheveley Park.

She performed admirably on just her second outing, with only Tiggy Wiggy, Anthem Alexander and High Celebrity in front of her.

Back down in class, Jim Crowley never had a moment's worry and cruised to a one-and-a-half-length success from Fligaz.

With Simcock in America on Breeders' Cup duty, Crowley told Racing UK: "On Cheveley Park form she was entitled to be that price (1/5 favourite) and to win as she did.

"She's a nice filly and she did it well.

"She just wants to get on with it, she's not tricky.

"When you get on her she's nice and relaxed and feels a speedy type.

"My gut feeling is that she'd stay seven furlongs at least and you never know about a mile until you try. At least with the new race at Ascot (three-year-old sprint) there's options now.

"I don't think she minds a bit of cut in the ground."
