Quiet Reflection (8/1) reversed York form with Easton Angel in some style to take Group Three honours in the Shadwell Stud/EBF Stallions Harry Rosebery Stakes at Ayr.

Karl Burke's filly had to settle for fifth when Easton Angel was third in the Lowther Stakes but that was only her second start and she showed plenty of improvement to land these spoils.

Field Of Vision made it a true gallop over the five furlongs but had no answer as Graham Lee brought Quiet Reflection to quicken away impressively and win by four and a half lengths.

Promised Money was two and a half further away third with Easton Angel, the 8/11 favourite, only fifth.

Burke said: "She's a good filly. She was knocked over after 100 yards which not many people picked up on in the Lowther.

"I'm not saying she'd have won but we felt she would have been where the third horse was and she was favourite today.

"Unfortunately I took her out of the Group One Cheveley Park after the Lowther and I wouldn't have minded having a crack at that after today.

"I don't think six furlongs will be a problem, but Graham says she has loads of speed.

"We will sit back and think, but maybe we'll look at the Group Three at Ascot in early October.

"She's a beautiful filly, has a great temperament and I said to Graham before I legged him up she's a push button filly. You can put her where you want."
