Zidane gets the vote over Mujood, with Third Set, Stanley Goodspeed and Two Step Kid others for the list. Another big field of sprinters does not make things easy for punters, but Zidane's form last year entitles him to plenty of respect, and with the benefit of a comeback outing at Lingfield eight days ago, he can gain his biggest success to date. All three of his career victories have been over six furlongs, and Jamie Spencer has been on board for two of them, so, with a high draw and not badly handicapped at the start of his campaign compared to last year, he should go close. Mujood bolted up in a first-time visor at Goodwood seven days ago, and with his stable in good form, rates a threat, although he would not want it too fast. Third Set also hails from an in-form yard, but is drawn low and will almost certainly come on for the run, while Stanley Goodspeed ended last year with a flourish, but is another that could have done with a sharpener before contesting such a competitive event. Two Step Kid was pulled out of an engagement last week to wait for this and is well handicapped on form of old so should not be dismissed lightly. Dandy Nichols has three runners, and the market may help sort out which of them is best fancied, but we return to Zidane as the answer.
