    Verdict

Despite running green, Al Dabaran easily made a winning debut at Newmarket last month but it wasn’t a particularly quick time and the form has taken a few hits since. MAXI BOY (NAP) has run respectably in a couple of Group 2 races since making a successful start at Yarmouth ahead of a subsequent winner – there is no reason why he shouldn’t confirm Superlative Stakes form with Ropey Guest. Oh Purple Reign never seems to run a bad race and has place claims again so is preferred to stable companion Sun Power and recent winners Buhturi and Subjectivist.
